480 hours course time: 60 hours of verbal instruction and 420 hours of hands-on training (24 weeks).

This course will teach individuals how to weld an open butt groove on Plate & Pipe on SMAW and GTAW processes.

This course also includes welding on a thick schedule pipe for full penetration weld on both processes. This weld is most used for any pipe test.
